Information we collect
We may collect:
- your name and email address;
- the information you include in an enquiry or other correspondence;
- information connected with a potential or existing consulting engagement; and
- limited technical information recorded when you use the website, such as your IP address, browser, device, requested pages and the time of a request.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in the contact form unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
How and why we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and discuss potential work;
- deliver and manage consulting engagements;
- maintain appropriate business records;
- operate, protect and improve the security of this website; and
- meet legal, regulatory or professional obligations.
Depending on the circumstances, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, or compliance with a legal obligation. We do not use contact-form details for unrelated marketing.
Who we share information with
We share information only where necessary. This may include Netlify, which hosts the website and processes contact-form submissions; our email and IT providers; professional advisers; and public authorities where disclosure is legally required. We do not sell personal information.
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data-protection law.
How long we keep information
We normally keep enquiry information for no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If an enquiry becomes an engagement, we may keep relevant records for longer where they are needed for contractual, legal, accounting or professional purposes. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels on this website. Our hosting provider may process limited technical request data to deliver and secure the site.
